To create this painting, I first built a small assemblage of wooden blocks, I used a polished floor tile as the base. Using different lighting and camera angles I took a lot of photos of the assemblage, after a rigorous Photoshop edit I copied the digital work using Acrylic paint. I wanted to give the image a strong sense of mysterious futuristic place and do feel I achieved this quite well. As with many of my paintings I love to work with reflection, light and high colour, this one is no exception.
